Problem:
There were numerous problems affecting the existing nisswa.com site. Where to begin? Well, for starters the site truly did not reflect the gorgeous scenery, woods, lakes, wildlife, and everything that the Nisswa area has to offer. Finding a chamber member was also difficult. Well... Let's just say it wasn't a pretty sight/site.

Solution:
“We” do the site. After spending many summer months in Nisswa and experiencing the shops, trails, lakes, and great people for most of our lives, we knew what needed to be done. We wanted to walk away from the table and start this one fresh. Numerous concepts were presented and the one you see is the clear winner. The overall theme chosen was “adventure” with elements of a field guide, compass, lantern, and wood textures. The site fell right into place and captured the essence of the city of Nisswa. With an animated scene with brief introduction copy, the tone of the site is very appealing.

We then focused on the content and development. The true benefit of an overhaul came when we incorporated the “Administration” feature that allows the Nisswa Chamber to update the site (adding and deleting sections and individual pages) as well as administer the banner ad system which is a true benefit to its members.

During the development, our artist chose to have some fun with the Turtle Races that the city of Nisswa has each year. The image came to his mind and in the process he added some copy. The image of the turtle was presented and was actually used to promote the event.
